Europe’s most beautiful and most extensive beaches are there for you, as are wine-tasting visits to famous castles. Local distractions include the boat trip to the Cordouran lighthouse, the casino in Soulac, and visits to Bordeaux.

The vicinity can also accommodate those who enjoy sports. Cyclists are able to take advantage of the wonderful slopes in the pine-wood forests. The castle even has a number of bicycles. The airstrip at Soulac offers parachuting courses, and there are opportunities for hiking, horse riding, tennis and fishing in the environs.
